Allium ‘Purple Sensation’

Allium 'Purple Sensation' is 2.5 to 3’ tall and the foliage is dark green with a bluish cast. The flower head itself is ball-shaped and deep maroon purple in color. Truly the nicest, truest purple I have ever seen.

My alltime favourite allium, deep purple flowerheads, perfect for threading through your borders. A great bee plant. Plant on a layer of grit in heavier soils.
