The Secret Garden offers scope for teachers who want their children to learn more about the natural world we live in whilst meeting key stages of the curriculum.
We create an awareness of the living environment around us and an understanding of how the food we eat is grown. We offer opportunities for children to sow a seed and learn about plants, flowers and minibeasts.
We also pay attention to the work done by the bees, birds and butterflies which inhabit our gardens and the benefits of companion planting as a way to increase bio diversity and create a healthier garden without the need for insecticides.
