A short but intensive introduction to growing your own cut flowers. We’ll cover everything you need to know including soil, site, choosing varieties to grow, growing from seed, plant health, staking, supporting, harvesting and conditioning.   You’ll get hands on experience of seed sowing, and have seedlings to take home with you. If it all sounds too strenuous, there’ll be tea, coffee and cake to keep you going! There is increasing interest and demand in   Irish-grown cut flowers and foliage, and whether it’s just for your home or for commercial this workshop will cover all you need to know to get started.   The afternoon is €65 including all materials and refreshments, places are limited so must be booked with a deposit.
