September has seen us nominated in the Web Awards 2012 in the Most Beautiful Website in Ireland category. We were also nominated in this category in 2011 but we did not make it as shortlisted finalists, maybe this year. We do have a rather lovely website if I say so myself courtesy of Charlotte of Kitto Web Design. We are particularly delighted for Charlotte as she also has another one of her sites nominated, the world famous black pudding creators, McCarthy’s butchers of Kanturk.
We have also been shortlisted as finalists in the Garden Retail Awards for The Greenest Garden Centre category. This is open to all garden centres from the UK and Ireland. This involved me submitting a 2000 page word submission outlining our environmental stance, and having been awarded The Green Retailer Award earlier this year it would be amazing to win this in our 10th year.
