There has been a lot of colour this year, which I have loved. It's also meant that I can use a lot more of the flowers that we grow here at The Secret Garden - see that beautiful, faded gold rose there at the front of the bouquet? From my rose tunnel! Dancing cosmos, floaty linaria, delicious sweet peas - all grown here and it makes me so happy when I get to use my own flowers. There's something complete about it, that something nurtured from seed or small plant, finally gets to to shine! Whilst there is definitely an increase in colourful wedding flowers ( I think a reaction to all the darkness in the world right now), classic white wedding flowers are still the favourite. There's always a risk that they will look flat or boring in the photographs and there are two ways to avoid it Getting autumnal vibes today for sure, colour of mood most definitely brown..... I was blown away by @ballintubbert for a wedding venue. Beautiful place and beautiful people. What a day! I just can't resist sharing a couple more of @zoeardiffweddings pics of @rosanna_irwin__ and her bouquet. I'm so in love with using strong, architectural shapes and this is such a perfect example of a bouquet that reflects the bride's style. Few more pics from this beautiful wedding @sheenfalls. It's such a beautiful location for a smaller wedding - both the boathouse setting for the ceremony and the elegant dining room.
